Default Unsharpness with Mercali V4?

I am using Mercalli V4 in a 4K 25p Rec 709 project. Mercalli does a great job in stabilizing my footage (handheld, no tripod). However, there seems to be a catch. Every now and then there is a very brief moment (max 0.25s) of very noticable unsharpness.
Any else seen this?
Is it a setting?

Chris

I will try Mercalli above the layouter. It was below. Thanks for the tip.

I tried the Edius stabilizer, but for this clip stabilization was worse. I noticed sometimes the Edius one is better. Mostly the Mercalli stabilizer is better, so that is my go-to stabilizer. Only if that one that does not work good enough i try the build-in one (sometimes no difference, sometimes worse, sometimes with success)

Chris

Is there a trick to make Mercalli set above the layouter automatically?
Is there a trick to move Mercalli on multiple clips at once above the layouter?

no, you have to manually move mercalli above the layouter

whereas the EDIUS stabilizer automatically goes there
