Lightbulb Composer Format editing

When entering data into formats within GV Composer, by clicking on the particular field to fill in scene parameter details, whether it's manual text/dynamic reference/import field, etc. - would it be possible for the mouse-click in the field to result in one of the data types being selected (i.e. click and a 'Manual Text' entry window pops up) with the ability to alter the type, becoming an option after that?
I'm finding that the number of mouse-clicks required is far more than it would be if one of the data types (probably "Manual Text" is the most used for me) was selected as a default, rather than always having to choose a type first, before entering the data.

Hi Jim,

I'm forwarding your suggestion to the product managers for Channel Composer. Adding a default parameter type on clicks could make sense, 'though I'm not sure all users will be happy with a default "manual text" type. Maybe something that could be made configurable.
