My 25p version looks very much like yours. I backed off the colors on my 50p version.

In my HDR workflow it is the most important adjustment in pcc to switch from Displaylight to Scenelight when the footage is LOG-footage before I do the color correction. After that I do the colorgrading in Magic Bullet Looks. Maybe that is one reason of flat looking output.

No, I purposely reduced the color on my 25-50p file.
If you play Claire's output, it isn't flat. My 25p version of the same file isn't flat.

OK, it is just my HDR workflow. I only watched the first films, sorry. There are many ways to get a good HDR output. It is just my experience of editing V-Log Panasonic footage.

Thanks Claire
Transfer to memory stick plug into TV. Your clip is coming out as HLG on the TV. Everything looks correct in yours except there is a blue cast on the greys such as the Tarmac of the road, I found it needed the color temperature swinging away from blue in PCC, other than that yours is matching what I am now coming up with. That is a step forward, two users almost agreeing. Hooray! What is left to solve by the technical team is not being able to play those clips in Edius. Best Regards Mike

H.265 will always be an issue for older machines. I was able to play a 50p UHD H.265 file on a 7700k without issue because it had the QS encoder/decoder package for 8/10-bit H.265.
GPU assist may or may not be enough to push H.265. It will depend on the CPU power as well. Slow cores won't help much.
