I just received a new build from Walter that now seems to be working correctly, so yes this is something that you can do with MacroGenerator Pro.

BernH, thanks a lot for your feedback.
I just completed my task by using Edius features: focus on clip, short cut to mark in-out, short cut to send it to batch export...very easy! I'll soon explore EMG (maybe next Walter' black friday sales ;)

You should be able to easily make that into one Macro using Walter's program.

The nice thing about using Macro Generator Pro for this kind of thing is the file naming. If you are using the Edius native "send to batch" function, you still have to name the target clip. With MGP, you can have this step automated to use the timeline timecode so the clips come out with a sequential name that sorts correctly in explorer.

It becomes a set it and forget it type of function.

I personally don't use MGP for my regular day to day work, but for things that would be very repetitive and tedious, it is a great tool. You simply set up a macro and a cycle counter that repeats the macro the number of times you set for the cycle.

BernH,
as I said I'll buy MGP (aka EMG), nevertheless to rename clips I'm using a little great tool called Better File Rename.
Very easy to use and, good for my purposes, it can also rename files in random order (shuffle).
Apologize with the administrator if I mention it in the wrong place ;)
