Default GTX 1080?

Hi all.

Does anyone have specific experience with using Neat 4.xx running with a GTX1080 in Edius? I'm curious about what real world gains come with the latest GPU's.

many thanks

keep it real...

Paul :-)

I haven't compared with NEAT, but there is no difference between a 980ti Classified and a Founders Edition 1080 when using Robuskey in 10bit.

I use the GTX980 and Neatvideo4 runs realtime

however, the graphics card is not used when it comes to exporting the file with the neatvideo4 filter, the CPU does that and export is slow

I was kinda wondering if a 1080 would give me better realtime, I'm using a 780ti which is still pretty powerful, ranked 12th fastest card... but a long way from the newer stuff now.

I also need to check out Red Giants DeNoiser 2 performance, as I think it is better than Neat and also has GPU acceleration.

Not sure if it's worth the $700....

Paul :-)

I went from a GTX 780 to the 980ti Classified and I noticed a world of difference. Wait until the 1080ti's come out and look at those. I'm considering one.
