Default Edius 6.5: MP3 file problem

Hi, I have a MP3 file and if I open the windows to load it, Edius doesn't see it. I have used Sound Forge to modify that file saving it in waw - stereo 2 channel 16bit 48000 output. But Edius doesn't see it again one. Can I solve this problem? I have to get MP3 file or waw file.
Thanks

Double check that you are trying to load the actual wav file after the conversion and not the .sfw file. The .wav file should load into EDIUS.

I did right steps but I have noticed a strange thing. When I have shut down the PC and turn on it again, Edius has seen those files.
Anyway thanks
