Default EDIUS 5.11 - 3D Picture-in-Picture hotfix

For those running on Vista, make sure that when you run the 3D Picture-in-Picture hotfix setup/install file to "Run as Administrator".
If you do not, and run as normal install, it will not install correctly and give a notice that access was denied when trying to modify the system registry.
Just a heads up.

The instructions cover the Vista "run as" quirk. Let's see how many people read those instructions...

No Problems here on 64bit Vista, I just ran the Batch file installer and all was well.

I did read them, just by the time I downloaded all eight parts of the 5.1 update, unpacked it, installed it, turned off system and turned system back on, I forgot to run as admin for the hotfix. So was just reporting what happens if you don't run as admin as a heads up.

So do you have to install 5.1 update first and then the 3D Picture-in-Picture update.

That would be logical since the 3d update moves edius to 5.11
so 5.1 first then you go to 5.11
I thought this was made pretty clear on the download page:

This hotfix resolves known issues with soft borders, lighting and shadows when using the 3D Picture-in-Picture keyer within EDIUS v5.10.
You will need to have installed EDIUS v5.10 prior to installing this update.

Important Note: Applying this hotfix will update EDIUS to v5.11. You will not be able to reapply the v5.10 update after installing this hotfix.
