I think so. Just simply put the dll file into your VST folder (Program Files/GrassValley/Edius/Plugin/VST)

Loudness and Limiting are NOT the same thing. WAY MORE COMPLICATED!!!
The o/ps original link suggests -16LUF for Online - interesting and doable in WG 8.5 else use VideoToolsheds excellent Loudness Change.
I use Loundness on TV Commercials to meet EBU 128 compliance. There were "sound" reasons why it was necessary. TVads were compressed to make them rattle the windows and EBU128 put a stop to that.
For non broadcast specifically online - just having a bit of headroom would suffice as if you are too compliant you may be perceived as quiet as opposed to the rest of the jungle which is LOUD
Janne, you can create a custom present and resave the file from the project BUT ONLY IN WG 8.5 (which you have) but not PRO
Would suggest you read this thread to avoid a few Bear traps.

Thank you for the link! Yes, I was indeed talking about average loudness normalization upon export (like EBU/ITU compliant normalization, but louder), and not peak normalization of audio on the timeline. Basically, as I'm taking ITU compliant (-24LKFS) broadcast audio to internet, I need to boost it substantially so as not to have online viewers needing to pot up their audio for my clips, but wanted to have some standard to stick to for consistency between my clips, and pro content on the internet.

The -16LKFS custom preset seems to work fine. I suppose I'll just apply a touch of limiting to an intermediate normalized wav export to make sure no momentary peak quite hits the ceiling, and then export the web copy using the normalized/limited audio. Seems robust enough for web viewing, per our testing.

Who invented this word "Loudness"? In 40 years of audio work, I never used it. Did it start in Europe?

For web, I make -3db on the meters my max for limiting and compression. I have many bands, spots, etc. on Youtube and they sound good. Sometimes, I'll crank it up to 0db. No distortion at all.

Loudness has been around for years as a Scientific term for audio pressure.
And it was yor lot not our lot that invented CALM - Commercial Advertisement Loudness Mitigation Act, we came up with EBU R128.

You might read about "loudness war", e.g. on wikipedia:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loudness_war

It is really interesting, and although there is a lot of technobabble to deal with when it comes to realizing loudness in video production (compared to peak level normalization), it seems fair enough to me that finally someone stopped that loudness war.

Yes totally agree - for Broadcast the rules are defined whereas for the internet anything goes and as soon as you start to hit some sort of standard you risk appearing quieter than the crowd.
