Default After Edius 8 installation no HEVC export

Hi to everyone,

I just installed Edius 8.5 and noticed, that in system settings / import-export the HEVC option is ticked but greyed-out.
Also I cannot see under file export the option "HEVC".

My CUP is Intel core i7 6820hq.

Have I overseen something?
Help appreciated

H.265 is only for import and playback. H.265 export has not been implemented.

Thanks for answering. And why is the setting greyed-out?

Problem solved.
I just changed the Bios settings to Hybrid mode (internal GPU).

By the way: Has anyone compared the general transcoding speed between Intel quicksync and NVidea technology?

The tick box is to enable hardware accelerated playback. It still plays the files if your set up cannot do this, but if you have the right CPU this tick box will help playback.
