I think I ran into something similar, won't generate proxies, as follows - any advice appreciated.

I'm doing a 7 camera, multi-cam concert edit. Due to the 7 cameras, I'm having to work in proxy mode.

When I turn on proxy mode, E9 does NOT generate proxies for one of the file types (on 2 tracks). All other files on the timeline get "checker-pattern" and proxies but this file type does not.

The problem file (from a zoom camera) is: .mov, H.264/AVC, 29.97, 3840x2160.
I also noticed that the color space is BT.601 (525-line [Full]???. I don't know why the color space is BT.601 (I got this footage from client).

Any help with how to get proxies made or what's going on with color space is appreciated. - Thanks

New to Edius - came from Liquid, before that 16mm film. I've been filmmaking since watching ST TOS first-run live on B&W TV

Definitely something funny about those spec. I would re-encode the file using the correct colour space flags and then use that as your source. Just keep and eye to it to make sure the colour does not shift.
