Just found it. I made a mistake its Nvidea not asus.

The date: 11/24/2015
The driver: 10.18.13.5906

Just updated them as well. Will check against the animoto footage in the morning and let you know.

Upgraded the GPU drivers. Retested the animoto files and get the same green screen.

to locate the real driver number, go to nvidia control panel and click the Home button (picture of a house)

I was thinking more along the lines of the Intel GPU as Edius 8 can use Quick-synch for h264 decoding on playback even with no screen attached to the onboard as long as the onboard isn't disabled in the BIOS, and I've seen it cause h264 files to play back green in the past.

On older Intel GPU's the latest driver may not be the best one to use. There is a way to turn it off using Quick-synch playback, but I can't remember it offhand.
