Default Vista 64bit

I am thinking of getting a new computer with Vista 64bit. Will Edius run on it? IOW is there a 32bit switch in Vista to allow it to run?

The web site makes it look like 64bit drivers will be available 1Q 2009. This implies to me that Edius 5 might not run on a 64 bit machine.

Thanks,

Scott

Edius 5 is a 32bit application but it will run just fine in Vista 64

There are no available drivers for HDSTORM board only...will be available in 1Q 2009

Ah, OK, thanks. I didn't obviously pick up on the HDSTORM part.

With HDSTORM you "stuck" with version 5, I do not like it yet (till alpha etc will be out maybe...), so I came back to ver. 4.61 and I am happy. HDSTORM will no work with 4.xx version.

Thanks Mike,

I was thinking of getting the HD Storm before the special runs out, but will not be able to use it at first. That kind of makes it hard to sort out, since I have Vista 64bit.
