Default No HD component preview on NX card

I was working since about one year with an Edius NX-Express card + Edius 4.61 , without any problem.
After installing the 5.0 version on a clean installed Windows XP Home , i lost my HD component preview (black picture , flashing while starting Edius , but no picture.
At the same time Edius itself is responding very slowly on any command , even closing , change hardware settings.

Some times i can get picture back by re-installing the HX-E1 drivers ( including the firmware ) a few times .While doing this i hear a clicking noise on de NX cards and get a flash on de HDTV screen connected ti the NX card.

Sometimes this helps to solve the problem
Then I have HD component output again and even Edius is reacting normal again , but after switching the computer off , i have mostly the same problems.

When i take off the NX cards , Edius is working normal ....

What's going on ?

Motherboard Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R
Core 2 duo Quad 6600 / 4 GB DDR2 RAM
Videocard ATI Radeon HD4850 (Gigabyte GV-R485MC-1H )
Windows XP Home

You said "... installing the 5.0 on a clean installed winXP ...", Do you have latest service pack install ?

Roland,

Can do you have a deck connected to the Nx?

try using a different slot - sounds like an IRQ or bus memory address conflict

is your NX the older type PCI-X or the newer type PCI-e

if PCI-X it needs to be inserted in a correct slot, not a standard PCI slot otherwise HD component out won't work

do you get standard def component out when switching project setting to standard def?
