Default No available capture device is found.

Hello,

I am attempting to use the HQ Recorder, and I am receiving the error message

“No available capture device is found.”

In device manager it shows that a Multimedia Controller is not properly configured.

I have downloaded the latest drivers for both the Pegasus Card and the HQ Recorder off of the Grass Valley website.

Also, my computer exceeds the system requirements and I did install the card in a PCI Express Bus Slot.

However, my computer is Windows 7 would that be causing an issue?

I need to capture video for a deadline, so any response would be appreciated!

Correct, there are no 64bit drivers for the Pegasus.
Just 32bit XP and Vista (I do not think Windows 7 is supported).

Seeing as you own a Pegasus, once you are able to get it working, could you tell me if it is
possible to do audio only recording/capture over HDMI (two, six, and eight channels)?

Thanks

I'm not sure about that, I got an e-mail with this attached: http://www.grassvalley.com/docs/Appl..._Compat_AN.pdf

Windows7 x32 should work with Pegasus. However, it isn't working for me right now. I've tried the original CD's contents as well as the 1.02 version provided in the download section. Both of which turn the same result, "No available capture device is found". I can't find the drivers (if they even exist) or a method to make the card show up. Windows' hardware manager says that the card cannot start.
