I would like to save just the transitions and video filters I use mostly in a seperate folder in the effects pallet. How can I do this in Edius 5 ?

Default Need more help

OK I opened the effect pallet. then made a new folder called FAVS. It came up just under the folder Keyers. Then I opened an effects folder with color correction and tried to drag the color correcton into the new FAVS folder. It will not let me drag. I get a circle with a slash in it.

Default one more thing

Thanks unlocking the pallet worked BUT once I had dragged the effect to FAVS it no longer is in the original folder. How can I keep the effect in FAVS and the original folder simultaniously

well there is a way. But you have to spend some time.
Apply the filter, transition or keyer to a clip .
Save as user preset in the newly created folder and name it the same as the original effect.
