Default MPG Video Importing With No Audio

I recently updated to version 9.51.5532 and it will not import the audio of the video clip. I had seen a previous post about this but did not see any solutions. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Hi Anton, First, thanks for expressing interest in helping me with this. I will see how I can get you a clip. The files actually will not play back in Windows Media Player but do in VLC. But here are more details...as I have seen someone in Spain is having the same issue. These are MPEG-2 4:2:2 files that have been recorded on a Tricaster 460 with the latest updates. We have been using these files for about the last 6 years in Edius with no problem. We started with Edius 7 then upgraded to Edius 8 and Now Workgroup 9. If it's something that GV can tweak great. But at the end of the day we may just have to change our recording file type.

Anton, Thank You So Much for your professional assistance on this. I sent it to the guy that actually introduced me to Edius as well and he is kinda stumped. Especially since we have imported the same files onto an Edius timeline for six years. I do have other format selections that will still go onto the timeline from Tricaster. Also...my apologies for not seeing the attachments area below the message field. I'm new to the forum.
