Now, the PC seems OK.
I tested with a multicam project (6 cam) and it's OK.
However, I don't change anything on this station !
Hum, it's not very cool for the future.

Hey Marc,
any news about the 6700K system? How is it running after few weeks? Would yo go for the same?
BTW: is the PRO gaming MB better choice than the "A" one?

Yes, the station works fine.
I test a new one in a few days.
The MB Z170-A and Pro gaming are very similar.
The model Pro gaming has more USB3 outputs and the price is here the same.

Here is the driver version to use for Win 7 and the 6700k.
6700k.png

In theory, Edius 7.51b on a 6700k would work. To get everything out of the 6700k, I would move to Win 10 and Edius 8.1.
This is the same driver that works on the 4th gen chips under Win 10.

Hi Jerry!
I built a new workstation: 6700k, Asus Z170-A, MSI GTX 960 4GD5T OC GeForce GTX 960 4GB, Win7 Pro. The primary monitor is connected to the Intel GPU by HDMI. I installed exactly the driver you suggested. The Asus has got the latest BIOS. But: to export a 70 min. timeline in HDV to H264 it takes more than 16 hours!

Do you have any idea what could be wrong?

Do you have iGPU enabled?
Asus iGPU.png

Based on the driver information, it should work on Win 7.
The motherboard driver recommended is this:

Intel Graphics V20.19.15.4285.
1. Intel(R) Graphics Accelerator Driver V20.19.15.4285 for Windows 7 32bit & 64bit / 8.1 64bit / 10 64bit.(WHQL)
2. Support 6th Gen Intel® Core™ i3-6098P and i5-6402P processors
*Full support of the new CPU requires BIOS version 1402 or later, and VGA driver version 20.19.15.4285 or later
http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mis...1018154274.zip

Or:Intel(R) Graphics Accelerator Driver V10.18.15.4248 for Windows 7 32bit & 64bit / 8.1 64bit.(WHQL).
Intel(R) Graphics Accelerator Driver V10.18.15.4248 for Windows 10 64bit.(WHQL).
http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mis...1018154248.zip

Here is the latest from Intel: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/dow...54014.4352.exe This is Version 4352.

Try this drivers and see if they will work for you.

The iGPU is to be enabled. If you don't have a discreet video card installed and you are getting an image off of the motherboard HDMI, then the iGPU is more than likely enabled already.
Try those other drivers to see if you can get it to work.
