Default Quicksync

I may have finally witnessed "Quicksync" I built a machine for my friend and as per normal I recomended Edius I built a quad i-5 with a Intel MB nice little board it had a dual port video card built in. After I installed everything just for kicks I dropped about 3 min of AVCHD footage on the timeline I then exported to the h.264 bluray preset it encoded in a minute and a half thats REALLY good for h.264! Kinda makes me want to get a new MB for myself:) BTW the whole thing was pretty cheap it was a i-5 quad with 8 gigs of ram with all of the normal stuff for about $800 with Windows 7 installed. Finally my friend can move into this century he was using the last one I built for him a 3 gig SINGLE CORE with 2 gigs of ram! I think he will see a nice boost:)

Yes I am really pleased with my system and it cost me about the same to upgrade motherboard, processor,RAM and WIN 7.
