BT709 and Vlog as suggested but now I see that D-log is not supported.

You need to use the D-log lut from DJI in your destination (download and import it) and set the source to v-log.
Can you try that?

Please let us know how that goes.

I used the Panasonic LUT for the Source space and the Osmo D-Log LUT in the Destination space. It gave me a very ugly contrasty blue image. I gotta be doing sometime wrong.

Anybody willing to take a look with JoinMe? Maybe you can spot my problem!

Are you using the lut which was provided by DJI for a period or one from a third party company?

The reason I ask is that there was some confusion with some editors between the art and D-log lut.

I can' t seem to find the lut dji provided at some point from the download section anymore.

I'm using the original dji lut, but I just download third party "ground control lut" and it works, just have to play with it a little, the original dji lut screwed it up really bad can't even fix anything.

I have them both. The one from Ground Control seems to work better for me.

Yes there have been some complaints on conversion of D-luts in other applications that is why I asked which lut was used.

Remember that you can always tweak with PCC.

There should be 0 difference regardless of choice in Source LUT. Why there is any difference at all? There should be one conversion going on based on custom destination LUT, yet we see 2 conversions and Source LUT choice does affect it. This is incorrect.
Yes there is one conversion but it depends on how the signal is passed to the conversion LUT.

Remember that the camera manufactures have specs set on how the signal should be read and passed trough. That 's why there are minor differences because we adjust the signal according to the specs.
Example when we use Panasonic Vlog spec white at 60 % is 100 Ire .
But we all know that that the range for the GH5 for example is 80% and most camera operators will use that range.

So we pass trough all this info to the conversion LOG. If you use the Panasonic logs for Vlog to 709 you will see that they have a curve which brings down the range between 60 to 80 within the specs of 100 IRE.

We pass all info trough so the user can decide how and what is treated in the curve.

Our automatic adjustment is straight spec math.

Hope this helps in understanding .

The publisher of 3D LUT Creator also has several DJI LUTs available for download, including versions with exposure and color temperature adjustments:

Honestly I have not compared it to Resolve. I just checked the flow in EDIUS.
I understand some of the concerns if you stay in bt 2020/2100 because we don't have those scopes yet.

If the end delivery is 709 the end result can correctly be monitored on the scopes and also by eye balling. :)
