Default Mixed 60i & 24P Timeline to BD..??

Hello everyone.
Haven't tried this yet, but under extreme low light conditions, I'm getting a much better picture with my new Canon HF-S21 at 24P than 60i. If I mix the regular 60i scenes and the 24P scenes on the EDIUS 5 timeline, what happens when it gets transfered to BluRay disc. Does it all get transcoded to 60i? I want to be able to have the discs play on as many BD players as possible. Or - is there a better way to handle the different frame rates?

Thanks for your help - I have little time to experiment since we have to begin shooting quite soon.
Cheers,
Alan

Use 60i timeline and all the 24P clips will be fine for blu-ray.

Your camera must be swithcing to a slower shutter speed in 24p.

FYI, the project setting determines the output type. So if you choose a 60i project setting whatever type of footage you put on that timeline will be converted to 60i. So choose your project setting based upon your desired output file. Although Edius is very felxible and can convert to other framerates on export.
