Default How to scale down to SD 16:9 text objects and groups with text objects

Hello,

We are creating Channel Packs with several text objects and groups with animations on them. So far we’ve created the HD objects and templates, and now we have to reproduce the same on the simulcast which is SD 16:9. Is there a way to easily achieve this without loosing quality and without doing everything again?
We first tried to create a group and scale it down to 720x576 but the result was really poor.
Since we have most of the text objects grouped, these group can be resized, but the font size remains in the HD size, so probably this would end up with the same poor result.

Regards,
Fernando

Hi Fernando,

You'd have to make copies of your group objects and your templates for the SD variant. Then adjust the font size appropriately to your SD needs. One way of copying the group objects and their templates is by exporting/importing them to/from the prefabs library. Alternatively you could merge the project with itself (with additive merging) as this will automatically create copies of all your objects and templates.

Roy
