Default Building new PC, need opinions

Hello,
I'm building a new pc with these:

CPU: Core i7-6700 3.4GHz ( http://ark.intel.com/products/88196/...up-to-4_00-GHz )

MB: Gigabyte Z170-HD3P ( http://www.gigabyte.us/products/prod...px?pid=5495#ov )

Kingston DDR4 HyperX Savage 8GB (2x4GB) 3000MHz

I have and old Graphics Card that i'm gonna use and it's an nVidia GeForce 450 GTS

Kingston SSD Disk aprox 500/500 mb read/write

I also have the Storm Mobile external card with Edius 6.03 software.

What is your opinion about it? I checked and the CPU does have Quick Sync technology, so i guess rendering to h264 will be quite fast?

Please let me know if i missed something.

Thanks in advance,
Valantis

I would say don't bother with the 3000Mhz RAM, you won't see any real benefit and it may actually make it slightly unstable.

Also although the motherboard and CPU support quicksync, Edius 8.1 is the only version that works on the Skylake processors. Any earlier version of Edius won't give you Quicksync

I agree with Adam. Go for 16gb of standard speed ram and apply the extra money towards a modern graphics card. If you are going to be using 3rd party plugins, you should get a modern graphics card.
The GTS 450 not only runs hot, but is lacking in the needed cuda cores. Even with the leveling of how the cores are totaled now, the 450 is still cuda challenged.
