Well done, I really like your pacing of music to actions & Edius 6.03 's responsiveness. Very funny...

Thanks, Jess. I thought it would be better to actually show the realtime functionality rather than just talk about it. Methinks it makes for a more compelling presentation. I'm thinking of posting another video, this time using the 3D layouter and the masking tool. I tried it out and it works even with the playhead running. Heck, I can even import clips into the bin with the playhead running! It'll take a lot of practice though. It's hard to compete with an NLE that's faster than the editor. It's like playing rockband at the insane difficulty level. You should try it sometime. :-)

Out of all the features and functions of Edius, my all-time favorite would have to be the little green "play" button. Why, you ask? Because it works every single motherloving time! ...Stay tuned for more realrealtime awesomeness coming very soon! :-)

Hi Frank.

You freaking genius. Brilliant editing and concept. Have watched it a bunch off times now, and it just keeps getting better every time. Love it.

Must be the best visual use I have seen for In The Hall Of The Mountain King.

Cheers.

Dave.

Wow! Thank you for the kind remark. I am truly honored. :-) I haven't quite gotten around to the next demo I planned to put up, but here's a little something I cut for a local short video contest. A friendly reminder to all us hard-working, sleep-starved, numb-assed, triple-espresso-swilling editors, to take time off from our bread and butter projects and do fun stuff with the people we love.

We didn't win the contest, BTW. But that's okay, we had a blast making it. When we watched it the first time, it felt as though we won anyway. :-)

All the best,

TheFrank

Nice! It's very timely. It would be great if you can post in youtube as well. The stats say there's a spike in queries for "edius 6 tutorials" on youtube. It's catching on and it would be great to have more tutorials for noobie "grasshoppers"
