I've just installed Streamclip on my Win7(32bit) machine that runs Edius (5.51)
It want me to uninstall QT and replace with Quicktime Alternative 1.81 and I'm worried that it will compromise the Edius installation. Does anyone have any comments or experience about this? With thanks |

QT Alternative is not working with many QT based application, normal quicktime version is not compatible with Streamclip :)
Actually you can use Streamclip with any QT versions, but you need the separate Apple Mpeg component (for $$ of course). I've tried it, and mpeg-2 playback is much worse than with QT Alternative |
