Default Help! Problems with firewire connections

I've got a poblem with my advc 110. I have used an advc before and connect the converter and computer with an firewire 4-pin to 9-pin. I have a firewire 9-pin expresscard on my computer.

Until a few week everythinh worked perfectly. But then a got a problem to get the connections between computer and converter. The computer find the firewire connection but the screen in my program is black. It's the same when I used another computer or another program.

The problem is that the firewire cable works when I connect the cumputer (9-pin) with and a firewire camera.

I thought it was a problem with the converter so I bought a new one (advc110). BUT the problem is still the same. The computer finds the firewire but the screen in the program is black.

Once a few days ago I get the picture in to the computer but the picture was'nt good. I saw only half of the tv-screen and it's was jumping.

What would I do? What is the problem? Firewirecable? The converter (the new one doesn't work to so..), the expresscard?
