Also, the SCART adapter that you got - with the Composite/S-Video switch, is the preferred type, as the Composite and S-Video output share a signal line, so connecting S-Video when only Composite is coming from the source will result in a black & white capture, as will connecting Composite when S-Video is coming from the source.
