Default 8.1WG crashes when scrubbing HDCAM EX Files

Previously used Edius versions 5, 5.5, 6, 8.0WG and now on 8.1WG all on this PC. 8.1 Crashes several times a day when navigating XDCAM EX 1080 50i clips both in the viewer and on the timeline using the J K & L keys. All previous versions never did this including 8.0WG. Where do I submit the System report Zip file and can I go back to 8.0 in the interim?

can you confirm the meaning of 1080p 50i clips

are the clips progressive or interlaced because you claim p and i

to revert to 8.0, uninstall EDIUS 8.1 and choose deactivate later

then install 8.0 and you won't need a serial during installation and no activation will be needed

also, you will not need to reboot after uninstall or reinstall, but I do as a precaution

I was just about to post the exact same problem.
Installed Edius 8.1 onto all my edit stations and now they all crash several times a day and I also use Sony XDCAM 1920x1080 50i PAL clips shot on Sony PMW-350 and PMW-300 cameras.
I came from Edius 6.5 (had v7 on the shelf but never installed it) and installed straight to Edius 8.1.

Yesterday I removed the NVidia GT-650 graphics card on one of the worst crashing PCs (2nd system in my signiture) and that only caused 2 crashes in 6 hours so it was much better. Re-installed the card and crashed in 10mins. Tried updating the Nvidia Graphics driver but it was already the latest.
I'm suspecting it could the Graphics card.
Anyone else with this issue?
Anton I could send you a clip but the crashes are intermittent

yes, upload a clip somewhere and I will place it on the timeline many times and then scrub like crazy to see what happens

out of curiosity, do you have seek files enabled or disabled?

Here my settings Anton. I think its Edius 8.1 with the Graphics card as when I took it out it was far more stable. When I re-installed the card it started crashing again

can you disable "Use hardware decoder" and then scrub like crazy and see if it still crashes
