Looing good. One question, can the Lanczos 3 downsampling be utilized to make a DVD from progressive material in Edius 7? (720p60/50)

The only way to use it now is with interlaced material. Thanks

While this is great news (NX still working, much apreciated) is there any card from black magic that offers 1920 x 1080 @50P

I was looking for a good reason to invest into another output card :)

The DeckLink 4K Extreme can handle 1080/50p but I didn't try it yet with Edius 7!

I tried the Decklink extreme - it does 1920x1080 50P.

This has been replaced by the Extreme 4K now - same kind of card except it does 4K output as well. We are currently testing the latter.

Thanks Zorro and David for the info, looks like I will change cards then, unless they can peacefully coexist together in the same system.

This indeed is great news that finally (cost effective) 50P can be done for the enthusiast and not funny things like 50P over 50i and the sorts.

Was waiting for news like this since beginning of version 6.

Really really happy now, 64bit here we come ........

The Extreme is a 4 lane PCIe card so I think you will struggle to get it working properly in a system with an NX which is already two cards. I could possibly do it in a 2011 Pin system but not with an Ivybridge/Haswell.

We have been testing with a Haswell system.

Cool

Oh wel, the NX had a good run in my few workstation and desktop systems since Edius version 4 :)
I have always enjoyed the stability and I'm a bit reluctant to switch to BM, wishing a GV card could do what I want (and be able to afford it !)

Finally getting exited again over a new version after a long time of .......
