some users may want to position titles while looking at guides on external mon but this is not possible
And I have some 14:9 film transfers which show sprocket holes and light leaks at the sides so I have to crop them to 13:9 and then (esp if using the Layouter) I sometimes end up having to trim a few more pixels at the sides after that.

I NEED the guides on my external monitor as that is what I am always looking at!
