Default Vistitle 1.8 Subtitles disappearing

Hi there,

I am using Edius 6.02 with vistitle 1.8 and I am adding subtitles to MXF MPEG2 files.
I made my own template for the subtitles. During preview the subtitles show correctly but after exporting the movie into MPG2 MXF a lot of subtitles are missing from the video. Mainly the second half of a sentence is missing, and after that 2-3 sentences are missing. This happens usually 2-15 times during 30 minutes.
The subtitles are srt files.

Can someone please help.

Thank you very much!

Strange...

Click on "render by..." button & keep the left mouse button pressed until the pulldown appears!

Oh my God this feels so awkward... :) I am using Computers for over 18 years now and this gets me... :)) I have managed to change the render settings, now let's see if the words are still missing after export...

Thank you very much Andreas

No matter! I ran into the same issue! I wouldn't say that's an user error at all!
The common way is toggling between all options on short click. That's what I expected!

Thank you for your fast reply!
It doesn't make any difference!

It would be nice if a single click on icon would toggle between different modes! ;)

Cheers

Sorry, this dll did not fix the toggle render option, it fix the missing characters issues when export EDIUS timeline (with Vistitle subtitle clips) to MPEG or MXF files.

That toggle (with click for some times to popup options) issues, we will think about a better solutions to improve experience.

Hi Chen,

Thank you very much for the file, I havent tried it yet, because I have a lot of work now, and if I set the render to Render line, it seems that is works fine.

Do you think it will still mess up the subtitles this way?

Thanks again!
As soon as i try the file I will let you know!
