Just for the record I lug my HD Cameras around but not a tripod I use a small calico bag filled with wheat that shapes itself to anything you put it on or next to and then rest the camera on it, Pans can be made easily and it is as still as a tripod
Worth a look at

Or composited by After Effects.
Honesty policy? Are you suggesting that a thread dedicated to linking to videos created with EDIUS, is not relevant or useful?

Here is a short "relaxing" video that I shot on an HPX170 while hiking last week. Was edited on my newly acquired computer with Edius 5 HDSPARK combo.

After working with Premiere 6.5 for 6 years, Edius has been a great change. I really like this program.

I'm glad I was wrong about this thread...
It seems to have grown wheels.
Thank goodness there's vimeo... lots of fresh Edius activity there too.
There seems to be a genuine need to be seen.

(thanks for the links folks, all good stuff)

Default More Videos

I have been giving advice and help on this forum for some time but as I do not have a website there is no way for anyone to know what I do, so I have uploaded a short video to Youtube that was made as a fill in Program for C31 (Community TV) Adelaide and Melbourne

The format I used to upload was WMV 7000kb CBR 1280x720 Audio 128Kb CBR, the file ended up at 460mb and took around 4 hours to upload using a cable modem.
I tried 4000Kb which gave a 250Mb file but was blocky in some places and finalised on the 7000Kb file which seems to look good.

Perhaps I will upload some more, if you want I will keep you posted

Hope you enjoy, link below

Beautiful footage, Barry. Well done. That subject - boating the rivers and canals - is most dear to our hearts, for this summer was our 20th canal trip in Europe, and I've documented each one as you did. My wife and I rent our boat (not quite a houseboat - more of a small 43 ft. cruiser) with 3 sleeping areas, full galley and steerage from up above or down in the main cabin in case of inclement weather. I haven't posted anything on the web yet, because I'm trying to sell the EDIUS-edited videos to the boat company we rent from. So far we've canaled England, Belgium, Holland and 12 trips in various areas of France. But never in Australia - yet - and it looks absolutely gorgeous. We were 3 weeks aboard our boat this year, on a beautiful river called The Charente in the Southwestern part of France near Bordeaux. Wish I was still there after seeing your terrific video. Keep 'em coming.
Best regards and cheers to you.
Alan

Barge trip in France. Part 1 Part 2 is also there. This was just before I purchased Edius. I gave the owner of the Barge some copies for promotional use and the next year he gave me and wife a Barge trip in Scotland.

Mule....them thar am BIG barges - and beautiful footage. What we do, is rent our own much smaller canal boat. No one else is on the boat - we sleep on it, cook in the galley, steer the boat, operate the locks ourselves (when there are no lock-keepers (which there were none of this year), tie up in a small town or under a beautiful tree somewhere along the canal, and are totally by ourselves in peace and quiet. All 17 trips were edited with Canopus - from the very first Canopus editing software (I think it was called "Just Edit"), through the DVStorms and now with EDIUS version 5.12. At least 15 years with Canopus, if my poor old memory serves me. I will post an HD segment of a trip within the next week on vimeo and post a reference on the forum. I think one of our forum's subs of "videos editing with EDIUS" is a great idea, and perfect learning and exhibition showcase for those of us who are stalward supporters of the EDIUS NLE's.
Cheers,
Alan
