Indeed TMPGEnc Movie Plug-in MPEG-2 for EDIUS only works to produce MPEG-2 files.For others formats we must use Firecoder Blu as standalone or using TMPGEnc's encoders with the Spursengine plugin http://tmpgenc.pegasys-inc.com/en/pr...4xp_spurs.html TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works 5, TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress and TMPGEnc Authoring Works 5.

does it have filters so you can correct the incorrect DVD output aspect with the black pillars, some people like them, I don't

black pillars = the encoded file is not of full width of 720, but 704 instead, giving you a black pillar on either side of 8pixel each

this can be eliminated with the full standalone version of T5, because it has filters and you can untick the keep aspect, which then fills the screen
