Default HDSpark alternative.

Just wondering, is HDSpark (HDMI) the cheapest card that can be bought to preview the Edius timeline on a HDTV.

I already have the HDStorm + card but would buy something cheaper, if possible for my second Edius workstation.

Thanks.

Welllllll... if you only wanted to edit with one monitor your COULD double click on the program monitor and it will put it up on your 2nd monitor. Just sayin.

Rando, I think what he want is the "Real" output with correct color and levels rather than just full screen preview :)

Thanks Rando but yes, Real output. I can always use my HDStorm card.
Just wondered if there was something else,(cheaper) instead of removing the card

Thanks.

Just wondering, is a HDSPARK necessary, could you use the HDMI out of the MB to a HDTV instead, only a thought.

Thanks.

It all depends, how serious are you with making sure your color space is correct? Edius cards is the only way to ensure that.

Just came across this, is it still the case.
