I am not sure, someone with QS needs to confirm, but QS only works with later version CPU for H265

It definitely won't play on the OP's 3770k.
Plus, that chip will only support quick sync
with h.264 AVC encoded files.

Plays on my system with building buffer ( added several copies to timeline ) but like Anton scrubbing is not that good. Will not play in Vegas at all but scrubbing and play is fine in Resolve.

Test files plays effortlessly on my out of the box Dell 3630 with QS. Complex transitions were a bit sluggish.

Default 4K h265 file

The initial test file was a 1080 file.

Here is a h265 4K file for testing https://drive.google.com/file/d/1g_E...ew?usp=sharing

Thanks for testing everyone.

That stutters badly on my system and for once Resolve will not play any better.

I bet this 4K h265 will struggle
The initial test file was a 1080 file. Here it is again in case you missed the earlier thread.
