Default 6.08 to 6.55 question

Hi, can v6.55 open 6.08 projects- and does anything get dropped particularly transitions and 3d layouter effects. I know this has been asked before but I have been trawling for most of the afternoon and my new pc approaches!

If changes are an issue, could I import the exported AVI ? that would give me a single track stream and keep all effects embedded wouldn't it? ( I have a mod coming up where the client just wants to update the first minute of a quite complex 18 minute video)

Cheers!
Rod

existing 3D PIP will work and can be altered, but you can't apply new ones

the free EDIUS6 bundled izotope VST will no longer work

TmPro can't be used or installed

Thanks Anton- I use vistitle now and that seems to be just switch the dongle to the new pc and download-(something easy for once!) the only other plugin I am going to have to get is Vitascene v2 (I use the bundled v1 atm which I assume will not work either,
Cheers!

yes, Vitascene2 works fine here with 6.5 and 7

for 6.5 you need the 32bit version and for 7 you need the 64bit version
