Default Can't install 9.5

I never had an issue installing a new version of Edius.
When I installed 9.5 the first suspicious thing I noticed is that Edius did not add the licence manager into the start items (it always does and I remove it).

When I opened Edius after installing 9.5, I was surprised to see that it reverted 2 versions back, to 9.30.3920!

I re-installed 9.5 and it said it was succesfully installed but again, when opening, it opens 9.30.

PLEASE don't tell me that I have to completely un-install and re-install!
Any suggestions?

Default

in control panel:

uninstall EDIUS (don't deactivate)
uninstall Mync (don't deactivate)
uninstall License Manager

empty appdata/local/Temp folder

install 9.50

no custom settings will be lost and no serial will be required during installation

all of the above, less than 5min
