Default VSTs in Edius 7

I've done a lot of browsing about for some Compressors/Limiters for use in EDIUS 7 and have come across an issue installing some of the 64-bit versions. I have tried Voxengo Elephant in it's originating folder (Program Files(x86)/Common Files/Steinberg/VST2/Voxengo) using VST Plug-in Bridge to navigate to the folder, while also copying it into EDIUS 7's Folder Structure (Program Files/Grass Valley/EDIUS 7/Plugin/VST) with no luck.

I accessed EDIUS' plug-ins webpage to download a trial of Voxengo's Voxformer which installed successfully with EDIUS 7's folder structure, and when restarting EDIUS, only Voxformer appeared despite the both of them being 64-bit *.dll files.

Could anyone offer any advice as to why this isn't working?

Part of me is suspicious that because Voxformer offers EDIUS integration as part of the installation that any other VST I have tried won't work yet I'd find that hard to believe given they're the exact same file type and destination folder...

Any help would be greatly appreciated as it's becoming more and more frustrating the amount of times I have to export Audio to Adobe Audition to treat it and re-import it back into the timeline.

I don't have elephant installed, but it has worked for others and is regularly endoesed by Anton.

I tend to avoid the vst bridge to keep from loading all plugins in the system vst folder, many of which are not compatible, so I only copy the dll files to the edius vst folder. That said, if you still have the vst bridge enabled, try disabling it.

You could also try LoudMax https://loudmax.blogspot.ca

This also works well in Edius, as do many of the wavearts plugins, but loudmax is a free one, the others are paid plugins.

You can try the free TOKYO DAWN LABS - VST plugins. They work well in Edius 9
