Default ADVC-100 with OSX10.6.3 and Imovie 9

Hello

I have an ADVC- 100 which I have not used for quite a while. I need to know whether or not this unit can be used with a new IMac I5 with OSX10.6.3 and i movie 9.

Also my unit is currently set to NTSC 7.5 IRE. is that OK? -the only other option would be 0 IRE.

your feed back will be appreciated

Default

NTSC IRE setup level of 7.5 is standard for NTSC countries except for Japan. You should use this setting unless you are certain the original tape was recorded with 0 IRE setup level, then set it back to 7.5 afterward.

As for your iMac, if it has Firewire, then it should work.
