Default Mac Pro + HDStorm Plus

Anyone here using an HDStorm card with the Mac Pro?

The NX works perfectly. Not sure about the HDStorm.

As far as the breakoutbox, I plan to just cut a small hole in the PCI panel and run the breakout out the back (Need component).
Might not even need component. Might just get an HDMI capable LCD panel and get rid of the analog monitor.

Nevermind, went with a PC setup.

Didn't justify getting a Mac just for an editing device, already have one.

However, it'd be nice to know if anyone has gotten the HDStorm plus working on a Mac Pro.

Hi galmir,

Did you have any particular problems to overcome in setting up your MAC Pro/HDStorm system. Any handy hints?

Hi Jim,
no problem, simply install drivers contents in edius 5.01 update, because drivers released on the web at HD STORM section are older then edius 5.01. The new drivers updating the HD Storm firmware also.

Hi,

good to know that it works fine!

I've had zero problems with the NX and Mac Pro for over a year.

I hope Windows 7 has better performance, though. Not that happy with Vista x64.
