Default WG 9.51 Upgrgrade Issues

I just upgraded from WG 8.53 to WG 9.51 and the titles on previous projects are either missing or corruupted. Is this a known issue?

New computer with clean install- AMD 3960X, 2080ti, current version of Windows 10, and all current drivers.

no, not a known issue unless the previous project used a 3rd party titler that is not yet installed in EDIUS9

No third party titler. They were all done with Edius titler. What is happening is that all titles from previous projects are being moved out of center a few inches toward the right of the screen and the font size is larger.

Sounds like a possible font substitution to me. If you don't have the same font on the system, this is usually what happens in most software.

If this is the case, the software is essentially just picking the closest font family match it can find, which can mean slightly different sizes, leading, kerning, etc.

Berh is likely correct. Copy all the fonts from your old PC and install on the new one and see if that makes it all work. Easy and worth a try.

Where would I find the fonts?

On your boot drive, C>Windows>fonts. Just copy them all to a USB drive and transfer to the same folder on your new PC. The copy will ask if you if you want to replace if it finds the same font on the new PC. This will copy all the fonts installed, by all the programs, on your old PC.

OK, I did it and it helped, somewhat. However, now they've moved from right of center to somewhat left of center.

However, I'm finding a MUCH more significant problem. When I'm scrolling the timeline, the cursor, quite often when I scroll and release on a clip, the cursor will snap back to an earlier point. It does this a lot and even when I move it back, it will often just keep snapping back.

Another problem, is that when I arrange my layout and save it, the next time I launch the program, my layout will have changed, even when I go apply my named saved layout, it won't. I tried a uninstall reinstall, no help.
The program is located on a new Samsung 870 evo plus NVME drive.

Help!

Can you check if your display resolution and font size are the same in the display setting? (As on you older setup)
