Do a search on it on the forum, most likely it is your anti virus software, turn it off.

In some cases it may need to be uninstalled. Also, move the burn to disk temp
file off of the C drive.

Also check that you have the latest drivers loaded for the disc burner. Check the drive manufacturer for the latest available drivers, and follow their instructions to upgrade if necessary.

Don't you mean Firmware instead of Drivers?

i'm not sure if this was the problem but i think i solved.I changed the blu-ray writer.and now, after 2 Blu-ray discs didn't give any error code and the BD work good.at that bad writer, when i maked a blu-ray disc, the image was good until minute 89 for example, where the image was destroyed, like in explosion effect.some pixels go well and some big pixels were locked, unmoved.i hope this new BD writer will work fine:)did someone seen this problem with "smash image"?

what is your exact version of EDIUS5?

5.51 is the latest free update and the most stable, but it produces faulty Blu-ray when choosing menu, it is fine without menu

DVD are fine with or without menu

if you call tech support, they may or may not give you a solution to fix the Blu-ray menu issue
