Smile Seeking Feedback on Zoom H5 and H6 mics

I want to upgrade from my current digital recording mic the Zoom H2n to a better, more robust model. I am liking the Zoom H5 and H6 but am looking for opinions from users of these products.

Anybody using these devices out there?

Hi I use the H6 and would not be with out it, for my work I run 4 boundary mikes and two shot guns mixed down and sent to the camera. Everything is cost related but on higher paying jobs I use the H6's audio recording for sweetening and discard the camera audo, producing a great stereo mix.

I've used Zoom recorders since H2 days, with H4n, H2n, R16 and now H6. The H6 wins (grin).

Here's a video that uses audio captured on the H6 XY mics:

I've shot a number of other tunes with this recorder. I also did some comparisons of the H6 in various configurations: http://www.homebrewedmusic.com/2013/...itar-shootout/

I found the MS mic module to be noisy, but the XY module has worked well.
