Your CPU can't be that new if it doesn't have SSSE3 as AMD have been using it in newer CPU's since the end of 2011. Going by your system specs the Phenom II 1090T was released end of April 2010, that's nearly 4 years ago, very old in terms of CPU lifespan

Adbear,
Right I bought it in 2011 because Bulldozer's benchmarks were unspectacular at that time and even under-performing by comparison. I didn't know there was such a significant difference that I was buying into disadvantaged technology. I'm still new at processor speak. My AM3+ socket means I can upgrade and be fine. That's why I like AMD. They don't make a new socket for every processor release. :)

SL,
Smug responses toward other users and calling them illiterate doesn't fix what has caused this.

Maybe its because I didn't highlight it but I'll repeat, A more apparent disclosure of SSSE3 on the Overview/Front Page of the product would be helpful. Considering old processors are apparently still out and about.

But it seems you don't care or don't have the ability to forward the information. In which case you should hold onto the pictures to slap the next distressed AMD forumers with.

For many years now you won't find anyone who will recommend AMD for video editing in general. Intel CPUs are way faster, consume less power and there are other benefits like QuickSync. So basically AMD is kind of 'use at your own risk'.

It's listed clearly in the Specifications and the Trial is available for people to download and try.
