Default Problem Exporting HDV to Sony HVR-M25A

This is bizarre. 4.61 on my NX system
I can export HDV to my Sony A1 camcorder but just tried with my new Sony HVR-M25A HDV VTR.
Connected via same OHCI port as I used with A1.
Deck is set to HDV in not AUTO
TS writer running free standing
TS writer has deck control ie play controls are illuminated on TS Player
When you hit the export button a start sequence play/pause rec/pause and then back to stop. Adjusted start timing, and TC options on deck but to date no export.

Any ideas?
Anyone using this deck?
Any other way to get HDV to Tape

DD

EDIT - well after a lot of testing I remade the M2t from a HQ file and it now works - bizarre.

I have no idea why it would not work. As I said, it worked on the A1 camera I then Re did the file, this time from a HQ file and it was fine....
