Default Install on NEW hard drive

Lost my first version of 7 when hard drive died. Now trying to install on a new hard drive. Website says 7.53 Full Install. But when I click on that, I am cautioned that it is only an update and I must first install original Edius 7. Which is true?

Cool

7.53 is a full Installer.
You need to download the DVD style menus (if you use them) as a seperate download.

If i'm not Wrong EDIUS 7.53 is roughly 500mb abd the DVD menu Pack is slightly smaller at 400+mb

Default THANKS

Thank you. Installed. Now I am presented with setting project presets. I shoot in HD but only burn DVD's for clients. Do I choose HD or SD? Also, it presents me with choices for 8 bit or 10 bit. I know 10 bit is better. Can I choose that or are there prerequisite requirements for using that?
