Default NewBlue elements3Trial

Hi.
I wanted to test the ChromKeyPro-Filter of NB-Elements. Therfore I downloaded the Trial of Elements 3 Ultimate, installed it and get the elements64.dll in my C:\Program Files\NewBlueFX\Elements-folder.
For I am using Edius8 I need a *.tpi-file to place it into the Edius-Plugin-Folder (as it happens with ColorFixerPro.tpi).
I dont know how I could get that tpi-file?
// There was only one option to accept during the install-process (the AGB). No options to select a NLE etc. The installation runs to the end (after accepting the AGB) and says "succsessful installed".

Is there someone who has an idea what I did wrong?

Thanks in advance - kurt

Newblue plugins do not install into Edius 8 yet. They are working on it. Should happen very soon.

If you go to c:\program files\NewBlue\XXeffect (to match yours)\Edius7 there should be the TPI files in there.

I have just looked and they are there in Total FX with Edius 7.5 installed.

Although if it didn't find Edius 7 folder NB might not yet be updated to look for Edius 8 and not create the TPI's so it might need to be fooled into thinking you have Edius 7x.

You could try creating an Edius 7 folder in c:\program files\Grass Valley\ & name it Edius7 with a sub folder called Plugins, then reinstalling the elements pack again if the TPI's are not already present to see if it is now happy to create them.

Then if it works copy the contents from Edius 7\plugins 7 to Edius 8\plugins. Be careful if you already have NB products in there only copy the sub folders for each effect group or you will overwrite the ones that are working if you copy the NB top level folder the install has just created.
