Default Licence transfer from PC to USB with Edius 5?

Dear All:

Is it possible to transfer the Edius 5 licence from the PC back to the USB dongle?

I know this has been confirmed for previous versions of Edius in this forum, but I would like to be sure rather than sorry before I transfer my precious licence to my laptop.

Thanks!

Nestor

Can anyone else confirm, but does E5 start faster with the license off the dongle? Mine now starts in a jiffy.

I never really noticed a difference in load speed because of the license location.

In Edius 5 reference manual, there is 2 transferts :
- USB to PC
- USB to USB
But nothing about PC to USB
Is it really possible to transfert back to USB key in Edius 5 ?

Yes it is. Open your license manager and take a look at it.

Why would anybody wants to transfer the license from USB key to his PC? What happens if the Hard-disk crashes with the license? I rather keep it on the USB.
