How do I copy the Edius tutorials on the site?
Question:

How do I copy the Edius tutorials on the site?

Answer:

Just select the chapter you want to copy (Select the broadband)

When it starts to play you can go to the file pull down menu in media player and then use the save as function to save the file to your local harddrive.

And yes the tutorials will be there for quite a while

The above is from the FAQ thread...(!?!)

I need to copy the training videos from http://ediustraining.grassvalley.com/ in order to make a dvd and give it to some customers of mine
However these videos dont play with media player but with flash player...and there is no save as function as well

Can someone help me with this?

They're embedded .FLV files. I will see about making a list of download links.

There may be some legalities involved, since the video was made by a third party group.

I agree with Aristotelis that there is a problem. The Tutorials are embedded within the site and play as Flash. I can't find a way to copy them onto my editing workstation. I also would appreciate a solution

anything you see on your PC, is in your browser cache

sort the cache by last accessed and find the flv files and copy them to a desired location

download a free flv player
http://www.swishzone.com/index.php?a...&tab=downloads

done and perfectly legal, there is no law in the world that forbids viewing content from your browser cache, but you can't rename, reuse and resale such content
