Version 9.40.5106
When lowering the audio dragging the rubber band I am not seeing the incremental db changes when moving. It only shows up when hovering over it. Is this the norm? Previous versions displayed ok. |

I agree. The display was extremely helpful.

I see the changes just fine in the EDIUS status bar, bottom left of timeline
where did you see it in previous versions?

Anton, at present it is awkward to keep you eye on both what you are doing on the track and also the status bar data at the same time. I seem to remember that in Edius 7 (as here) when you dragged the track or a node up or down, the changing db/pan data was displayed at the cursor. Not at the status bar, at bottom left. Maybe I am wrong? Can an Edius 7 user confirm what actually happens? Anyhow, it would certainly help to have the data continuously displayed at the cursor while making the adjustment with the mouse. That is my point. If my memory is at fault, and the data has never been displayed this way, then perhaps this feature could be arranged in an update? As dillydally suggests, it would be very helpful.

I assign a keyboard shortcut to "move rubber band point" so I can click on the point, click my keyboard shortcut and enter an exact figure.

David, yes. That is what I do now, but without the shortcut. I will follow your example. Thanks.

For EDIUS 7 and EDIUS 8 the db value appears at the cursor on the the rubber band. I use that to get close then right click and "move" to an absolute value when needed.
