Default Edius 6 to Edius 7 upgrade path?

Hey guys, I'm shooting with a Blackmagic Pocket camera now and - since Edius 6 apparently can't open PRORES MOV files - I'd like to upgrade to Edius 7.

I see the 6.5->7.0 upgrade available for purchase at B&H and elsewhere, but I also see a fairly vague "Upgrade & Crossgrade" version available, which I wanted to be sure will work for me (Edius 6 owner.)

Here's the link:
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...r_editing.html

Is this the correct option for us Edius 6 users wanting to move to 7... or are we stuck having to buy the full-priced Edius 7?

Thanks for any help you can offer!

Note! This is the Crossgrade & Upgrade version of the software.
A crossgrade allows users to switch over to EDIUS Pro 7 at a reduced price by giving up a valid license to a competitor's NLE System (for example: Final Cup Pro, Avid, or Adobe Premiere).
It can also be used to upgrade from previous versions of EDIUS Pro to EDIUS Pro 7

Thank you so much for the confirmation!

Can I go ahead and download Edius version 7 now, and activate when the box arrives?

yes you can, and be sure you install the latest Quicktime player (otherwise no Prores playback)

and tick Directx (if unticked) during installation

Thank you, Anton!

Just to be clear: Is it possible that updating Quicktime could solve ProRes/MOV import in Edius 6.07? (I've edited H.264/MOV footage without issue in the current version.)

I am 99.99% sure as long as it is a proper Prores and not one that requires the installation of Calibrated Codecs (I have these installed so that I can open all types of mov)
